Registration of your distress beacon is FREE and only takes a couple of minutes. Registrations can be submitted online, emailed or downloaded and sent by post.

Registering your beacon is a legal requirement.

Maritime New Zealand and the Rescue Coordination Centre is the place you need to visit - you can register your PLB or EPRIB. Pop over there, get it done, then get out and enjoy the great outdoors of New Zealand!
